What Happened to Torstein Raaby?

Torstein Raaby (1918–1967) was a prominent member of the Norwegian resistance during World War II, a spy for the British Secret Intelligence Service and member of the Kon-tiki expedition in 1947. Despite this, remarkably little is known about the highly decorated man who’s been referred to as Northern Norway’s greatest war hero. This documentary is the result of 25 years of research by filmmaker Stian Indrevoll into Raaby’s remarkable life, and its exploration of recent Norwegian history is as captivating as it is revealing.
