A documentary that describes the path towards the Spanish Transition through songs by singer-songwriter Jeanette, whose voice gives way to those of other ‘rebels’: personalities from the world of politics, journalism, culture or sports against the social and historical backdrop of late Francoism, from the mid-1960s until the Socialist Party came to power in 1982. This was a period marked throughout the world by the awakening of feminism and the demand of young people for their right to be taken into account. The film takes us on a journey through the history of the second half of the 20th century - a journey to the rhythm of Jeanette and her biography 50 years after the release of ‘Soy rebelde’ (‘I am a rebel’), a generational anthem.
