Over My Dead Body is a dark comedy that follows the chaotic events of a single night in a residential building. Ming, his wife, and mother-in-law discover an anonymous naked dead body on their doorstep, and they’re desperate to avoid any impact on their property value. They decide to shift the responsibility to their six neighbours, and soon, everyone is fighting to disassociate themselves from the corpse. As tensions rise and conflicts escalate, it becomes clear that nobody wants to take responsibility for the situation. But as dawn approaches and the body remains unclaimed, the residents are forced to work together to get rid of it. A twisted tale that explores the lengths people will go to avoid accountability and the unexpected bonds that can form in the most bizarre circumstances. (Trinity CineAsia)
