Cry, My River

Future armed conflicts will likely concern natural resources including access to clean drinking water. Ukraine is called the breadbasket of Europe due to its fertile soil. However, its landscape is full of drying and polluted rivers, beautiful yet ravaged. The contradictory nature of death and its constant transformation of nature is presented through aerial footage and archival materials from the times of Soviet industrialisation and collectivisation.
