Middle Watch

As WW2 draws to a close, a sailor aboard ship in the Indian Ocean keeps watch for enemy craft and the bubble trail of deadly torpedoes. Haunted and scarred by conflict and loss, he goes about his duties in the small hours of the morning with increasing fragility, but as his demons take hold, he is subject to an extraordinary encounter that may tip the balance of his troubled state of mind.
