English Conor McGregor is simply a legend, and while some hate him and others love him, there is no denying what he has accomplished, both for himself and for MMA as a whole. Before watching I was thinking "oh god, another ego trip from him" and assumed that given the amount of documentaries and autobiographies he's done so far, this four-part series would have nothing more to offer, but I'm very glad I was wrong. This is in fact a neat glimpse into Conor's world in between the Khabib - Cowboy - Dustin 2 and Dustin 3 fights, and it does an excellent job of highlighting his self-reflection and transition from "trashtalking badboy" to a fairly aware and mature fighter. But what I liked most is the detailed depiction of the training before each fight, the peek into the backstage of his family, his children, and most importantly the depiction of all the stuff around him that you don’t see elsewhere. Fine, brisk and high quality entertainment. ()
