Barbie - A Touch of Magic

The new Barbie series once again combines the concept of Barbie Malibu and Barbie Brooklyn (as in It Takes Two or Life in the City) with the Barbie phenomenon and her sisters (typically A Pony Tale). This itself is sufficient to indicate that the target audience are once again preschoolers. Anyone older will despair that the new Barbie cartoon is full of unicorns and fairies, and it's as overly sweet as cotton candy. (15/09/2023)
