Botswana is home to an incredible array of wildlife, and lions and elephants are two of the most respected. The planet’s largest male lions live here, but only one in eight make it to adulthood. They must learn the skills they need to survive to avoid becoming dinner themselves. More African elephants live here than anywhere else in the world, but during the dry season, they must trek 7,000 miles to find water. Thirsty and tired, they become more vulnerable to the lions’ advances. In this compilation, we’ll follow a lion pride and an elephant herd as each fight for their lives – and for their bloodlines to live on. Inevitably, their paths will cross, and one side will emerge victorious. (National Geographic)
