Set in ancient Kerala, where Tantra/Maya was a part of daily life, the story revolves around Thevan (Ajun Ashokan), a folk singer renowned for his hymns of praise for gods and rulers. His life takes an unforeseen twist when he narrowly escapes from a slave market, and stumbles upon the mysterious mansion of Kodumon Potti (Mammootty), leading to discover an ancient tradition.
