English A pleasant appetizer with an acceptably patriotic message, but unfortunately, also with half of the jokes falling into the category of vulgar humor. However, when I imagine the director's cut version, which lasts almost two hours, I feel a sense of dread. ()

English I unfortunately went to see Valiant with my young children at the premiere in the movie theater, and I must say it was a mistake. The basic idea and the structure of the story are viable, but the specific script and characterization of the individual characters are not. The core of the problem lies in setting the story on the front line of World War II while trying to create a spectacle clearly intended for younger children. Some of the associations are quite funny, but mostly appreciated by adults, many attempts at humor miss the mark, and the characters are only superficially sketched. Overall impression 40%. Both the concept and execution failed... ()
