They came. They conquered. They looked fabulous! With a contract to perform a drag show way out in the Australian desert, Tick (Hugo Weaving), Adam (Guy Pearce) and Bernadette (Terence Stamp) each has his own reason for wanting to leave the safety of Sydney. Christening their battered, pink tour bus "Priscilla", this wickedly funny and high-drama trio heads for the outback... and into crazy adventures in even crazier outfits. You go, girls! English This movie captivated me. The characters are played so brilliantly and they don't come across as caricatures at all - well, except for Guy Pearce at times - that it is easy to connect with them. It's actually just a road movie, but it is visually and musically stunning, and it also strives to convey a story, which is equally important. I was afraid for no reason. ()
