English The 1974 British production Dracula is a good adaptation, although it is not an adaptation that stands out in any way. A great actor plays Dracula, and he suits the role, although the other actors are not as distinctive. The screenplay is lean, there are no unnecessary scenes, and it is pretty well gritty, scary, and suspenseful. So as an adaptation of a classic, it is fine. You just cannot ask for anything more. ()
