Detective Raymond Pope is a detective of questionable morals, searching for his missing wife. His investigation leads him to the wealthy estate of the enigmatic Elizabeth Kane and her young maid Irina. The best scene is naturally the climb out of the bathtub, but overall I have to applaud it because this was the first step in a new method of looking at the substance, in which Elizabeth can finally perform a little differently again. It’s ambitious and stylish.
