A gritty, heartfelt drama about a brother and sister who both start out with the American Dream of running their own business and being successful. Teresa dedicates her efforts to make an honest living running a floral design shop. Her brother, Solomon, resorts to underhanded methods to open a music store. When he misses his payments, the loan sharks come after him but it's his sister who ends up in a wheelchair. The film follows Solomon as he descends on a downward spiral losing faith in everything. While Teresa develops a renewed commitment to her faith and experiences a profound spiritual awakening.
