It's Christmas Eve in a small New England town and Aubrey Bradimore (Jaime King) is on the hunt for a deranged killer who is dressed as Santa Claus. With help from her father (John B. Lowe) and Sheriff Cooper (Malcolm McDowell), the inexperienced officer sets out to catch the mysterious killer. There is only one problem: the Christmas Eve parade is taking place and the streets are filled with Santas. (Koch Media)

Pure slasher is dead as a horror sub-genre and the fact that, due to the lack of competition, some fans are satisfied with this feeble, sterile and derivative Christmas flick is proof enough of that. One murderous Santa, a couple of uninteresting murders, zero atmosphere and an incredibly annoying and dumb police officer in the main role. Better go for the atmospheric original, the funny Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, from Finland, or the forgotten French horror movie Hide and Freak. ()
