For the intellectual Faragó-family with three children a common holiday presents great difficulties therefore the kids take some jobs as well. This is how they meet Dédike, disabled widow of a shipmaster, who is bound to a wheelchair. Dédike offers the former boat of her husband for free if they do some maintenance work on it. The Faragós look for the Ramona with their friends, which looks quite different as it did on the photos of Dédike. Holiday making is identified with boat building and warfare with young scoundrels from the neighbourhood, as long as Ramona is not sunken by a big wave. The Faragós move back home and continues making holiday there. (official distributor synopsis)
