Marlene Dietrich is savvy saloon owner Cherry Malotte, whose honest former beau (John Wayne) looks like being swindled out of his claim by no-good town kingpin McNamara (Randolph Scott). It's a tale as wild as the frozen north itself, featuring an all-out fight to the finish between western icons Wayne and Scott, which is still considered one of the most spectacular action sequences ever filmed. Gold and women. This is exactly the combination that creates problems in the movie "Kazisvěti". Gold, because men fight over it and are capable of killing for it, and women because...well, actually for the same reason. Everyone wants to have all the gold and a beautiful woman just for themselves. It's not completely shallow, the characters are interesting, so this film deserves a higher rating. ()
