Dlouhý, Široký a Bystrozraký

An entire 2 minutes of the never completed fairy tale Tall, Broad and Sharp-Eyes-Sighted is available to us. This preserved bit is likely a sound rehearsal in costumes by the central trio performed by František Černý, Ladislav Pešek, and Jindřich Plachta. The three of them play something together on brass instruments, swaying to the rhythm... It is hard to argue about anything else, but on such an occasion it is really nice to realize the development of Czech film fairy tales that has been an integral part of Czech cinema since the 1920s until today.
