From the notorious Fabrizio De Angelis comes the ultimate in nature amok films. When a group of well-meaning scientists venture into the murky swamps of Santo Domingo, little do they know they are stumbling into a toxic nightmare. Local industrial barons have foolishly been pumping their waste into the water and this has given birth to a humongous reptilian monstrosity with an equally large appetite for human flesh. Featuring effects by the legendary Giannetto De Rossi, Killer Crocodile delivers all the thrills, spills and chills that any self-respecting fan of eco-horror demands. With performances from Anthony Crenna and Hollywood legend, Van Johnson, Killer Crocodile remains a firm cult favorite. (88 Films)

English "The Killer Crocodile" is a classic B-movie that excels in playing with its limited resources. But seeing a model crocodile instead of some CGI beast is simply priceless. Nowadays, it's not seen very often. Furthermore, there is some very well-done gore that doesn't shy away from truly gruesome amputations. The film is a B-movie, and in that aspect, it's quite good and can captivate genre enthusiasts. If you want something more, you should probably go for "Jaws". But you won't find a crocodile there. ()
