P(l)ain Truth

Ilppo Pohjola's (b. 1957) film tells the story of a transsexual and her transformation from a biological woman into a biological man. P(l)ain Truth is a short masterpiece, an exciting tour de force. The excellent shots and tensely effective musical background convey an atmosphere of pain and have the audience glued to their seats for a quarter of an hour. (Tampere Film Festival)
