Nodame cantabile

At first I wanted to give it 3 stars, but somehow I can't bring myself to do it now. Those who don't like classical music shouldn't watch it, those who like it or don't mind it should go for it and watch it. I haven't seen the dorama, haven't read the manga, so I can't compare, but I really liked the anime. Maybe when I see some of it, I'll go down in my rating, but for now, I'm a toddler at this... The music is the most beautiful thing you'll come across in this anime and it doesn't matter. That's not to say that the story or characters suck, but the music stole my ears, my eyes. I don't know why, but I was moved by the ending; it's hard to say. I guess that special feeling is why I'm giving the 4 stars. And I'm off to check out Paris. (06/09/2009)

Nodame and Chiaki both grow up beautifully, and even though they go different ways, they still meet. The music is amazing as always. This was a very nice ending – a beautiful finish to everything we've been through with them – which I liked much better in the animation than in the manga. I had to listen to the opening and ending themes with every episode because I just couldn't do without, so I just sought them out and didn't skip them like I usually do with other anime. In my opinion, the best series of Nodame. Probably because it's already so beautifully mature. This series isn't designed to make you love a character because they look cool, but to make you love them for who they are, which is the biggest positive I want to pick up, because it's very easy to fall in love with Nodame and Chiaki. :-) (28/03/2010)
