Live action feature film based on the manga by Akira Toriyama. Justin Chatwin stars as the young warrior Son Goku, who, at the request of his dying grandfather (Randall Duk Kim) sets out on a quest to find the great Master Roshi (Yun-Fat Chow) and collect all seven magical Dragon Balls. Goku must race against time to gather the mystical orbs before the power-hungry King Piccolo (James Marsters) appropriates them for his own evil purposes. (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment)

Animated it must work, I firmly believe that, but as a 100-minute film it just doesn't work very well. Everything happens so suspiciously fast, the speed at which the film shows the images is ridiculously fast. Plus, it doesn't have a lot of likable characters either... And I still made my way to the next episode :-D It's definitely a shame that I was bored with it, I didn't want to be, I tried to make the boredom go away, but somehow it didn't work... Such a pity.
