A Stop Away from You

Sebastian, a young Chilean cook brought up in Spain, has a small restaurant in the centre of Santiago “El Chiringuito” which is going through a difficult financial situation. He set up the restaurant with his Spanish girlfriend, Alicia. His relationship with her seems to be improving after spending some time apart but then Sebastian meets Paula in the metro. Their paths have already crossed several times but they have never actually met. Paula has been sacked from her job as a secretary and is in a relationship with an unemployed man who is somewhat older than she is. Surprised by the meeting, Sebastian offers Paula work but she’s determined to sort things out for herself. However, the job situation is not very good so in the end she accepts. She is strongly attracted to Sebastian and his strange passion for home cooking. (Imval Madrid)
