The Last Outpost

An interesting picture which begins with Grant's being saved by Rains from a tribe of Kurds in the desert. Together the British officers cooperate in transporting an Armenian tribe, allies of the Brits, to safer territory. Their trek takes them over majestic mountain ranges and through dangerous passages. While recovering in a Cairo hospital, an injured Grant falls in love with his nurse, Michael. It turns out that Michael is Rains' wife, though they haven't seen each other since their wedding three years ago. Grant and Rains are sent out together with their troops to attack an enemy fort, resulting in Rains' death. The doors are then left wide open for the romance to begin. (official distributor synopsis)
