Just as sex, drugs, rock & roll, hippies and Vietnam enters our consciousness, so it does for Ben Sweet, the shy , 18-year-old son of conservative businessman, Sy Sweet. Ben enters Berkeley in 1968 to study accounting and avoid the draft, but finds himself smack in the middle of a home grown revolution...and a whole new world. Ben arrives on the charged Berkeley campus naive about the politics of the world, but his roommates and his girlfriends take him on an odyssey laced with sex, drugs, political activism and a whole lot of rock and roll that change Ben's life forever. Where better to make this journey than the most politically charged campus in America.. the college whose name is synonymous with political activism, Berkeley. (official distributor synopsis)
