Cannes, beaches, the sun, jump cuts, beautiful women and two guys on motorbikes. All this equals the typical New Wave story of scoring a girl and having a casual fling. But Rozier’s portrayal is a fresh and original frolic that suggestively captures the atmosphere of those days. (Summer Film School)
