Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern Manhattan who combines his awe-inspiring magic powers with state-of-the-art technology to protect the city from the evil clutches of his powerful arch enemy, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina).
