Morphia tells the story of a young doctor who, in 1917, in the midst of the revolution period, arrives from the city to the freezing countryside. His first night of operations, the doctor prescribes himself a small dose of morphine to get over his nervousness: a circumstantial measure that winds up becoming an addiction. (Sitges Film Festival)
