Screwball comedy starring MacMurray as a shipboard news reporter who meets high-society gal Carroll. Carroll seduces MacMurray by having him take cheesecake photographs of her and soon the couple elope. MacMurray is shocked to find out that the only reason for the hasty marriage is that Carroll wanted to get her name in Allyn Joslyns society column. The comedy then turns into "Taming of the Shrew" antics with heavy participation from Claude Gillingwater as the rich girls uncle. (official distributor synopsis)
