English Every now and then, it’s nice to watch a movie and have no idea what it’s about. Every now and then, it ends up bad. This time it ended up bad. I chose it because I saw Sweden as the place of filming. During the film, I quickly realized what it was all about. But I must admit that the story was told in quite an interesting way. The couple was terribly selfish, but it all seemed pretty realistic. I finally gave it a chance and despite a fewuseless scenes I managed. ()

English This Scandinavian film reminded me in many ways of Breakfast with Scot, but the two films have more differences than similarities. Patrik is more gritty and realistic and deals with real issues regarding adoption by a gay couple. There are a few deaf spots, but overall this is a slightly above average affair. The music is enjoyable, the cast is generally good, and the story itself is simple but engaging. ()
