English I might have given this movie three stars, if it hadn’t been for Irish actors such as Murphy, Gleeson and Whittaker and the setting hadn’t been the Irish countryside. As I love all these actors as well as the Irish countryside, I had to add one more star. It is true that as gangster films go, this one is a bit weak. Gleeson, however, is a villain par excellence and if nothing else, he alone makes the movie worth watching. ()

English Perrier's Bounty may be a mediocre effort plot-wise, which most of all feels like an adaptation of a short story whose author was inspired by the atmosphere of popular films... But thanks to fantastic Jim Broadbent and a truly original narrator with Gabriel Byrne's voice, I'll throw in a fourth star after all. Enjoy watching. ()
