A Few Words (S05E14)

Alicia, Will, Cary, and Diane are in New York at the American Bar Association Conference. Alicia delivers a speech about being an "opt-out" mom returning to the workplace, and simultaneously finds herself competing with Will and Diane for a rainmaker lawyer shopping for a new home. As Alicia writes her speech she flashes back to the difficulties she faced in trying to land a job, and how Will saved her. We see clips of them being genuinely friendly back in the time period of Season 1. She and Will run into each other at a diner and have a brief "thawing." Will finds himself in the crosshairs of the investigation into Peter's ballot scandal, so he turns to old ally Elsbeth Tascioni to help him shut it down. (CBS TV Network)
