Japanese films are incredibly interesting, just as they are incredibly strange. And sometimes, they are also very bad. "Alien vs. Ninja" is a combination of everything I mentioned above. It is certainly an interesting film in terms of its subject matter (the battle between ninjas and the alien - not THE Alien - is not a completely bad idea), their approach is quite specific, and above all, it is really, really bad. However, all of this comes together in a whole that can still inspire you. So, if you first look at the ratings, in your case instead of 15%, it could easily be 50% or 70%.
