English When I was about fifteen, Abduction was the movie of the year. Lily Collins looks better than ever, Michael Nyqvist breathes villainously and with a little effort from the viewer, Taylor Lautner does all right as well. At least during the fights and tense moments, I forgive him; but unfortunately, at the moment when he is supposed to have careless fun or gaze romantically at his idol, I can only helplessly close my eyes, because it just doesn't work and never will. But when John Singleton lets CIA agents shoot without any consequences and casts the ageless Sigourney Weaver or the perfectly typecast Jason Isaacs in supporting roles, I don't feel like mentioning the significant plotholes and just enjoy this teenage adrenaline rush.
