English Casting-wise, this is a genuine hit, and the screenplay also grows remarkable over time. But when the murderously beautiful duo of Elisha Cuthbert+Eliza Coupe team up with the charming Zachary Knighton, you can't expect anything else. And when Max, played by near-debutant Adam Pally, becomes the main attraction, an inconspicuous yet reliable sitcom is born. The verbal shootouts are very difficult for the competition to outdo, and it's just becomes a question of whether the precisely balanced over-the-top mood will eventually turn into self-parody. And it never does. On the contrary, the creators gradually sharpen the humor to a point, and it's a great pity that the series is leaving, albeit at its peak, but unfortunately with several never-played trump cards. If there had been more continuity between the individual episodes, the highest rating would have been inevitable. Still, even as it is, there remains a very significant satisfaction after three announced years, and absolute recognition goes to David Caspe's stable for not even starting to tread water for a second.
