A gritty adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. Former Ku Klux Klan member Sam Cayhall (Gene Hackman) has been on death row for nearly thirty years after pleading guilty to bombing a civil rights leader and killing his children. With just 28 days until his execution, Sam's grandson Adam Hall (Chris O'Donnell) takes on his case.
