The peace and tranquility of an idyllic, suburban city is suddenly broken. Behind a picket fence and manicured lawn, teenager Sara (Katheryn Winnick) awakens, startled as a rush of cold air gently pushes he bedroom door open. Across the hall her parents bedroom door lies ajar and as her eyes adjust to the darkness she finds her parents gagged and tied to the bed. The first scene set expectations for an above-par, atmospheric and uncompromising slasher movie, but that good impression unfortunately fizzled out with time. It’s fairly well made, but the plot is not interesting at all and the female lead is annoying. In the end, I got something between strong two stars and weak three, but there are some signs of talent, so perhaps next time Marcus Graves will do a better job.
