Plots(1)

Young, who looks the same today as she did in 1952 and 1932, is an ex-convict on parole. She marries and does not tell anyone of her sordid past. When her former pals involve her in another crime, albeit innocently, her husband divorces her. Young and Chandler make a fine romantic duo, but some of the scenes are so laden with tears that they almost become ludicrous. The film boasts good production values and music by Oscar winner Frank Skinner (who used to specialize in soap operas and did two of the three versions of BACK STREET).
