Triumph of the wild

A fierce animation about the fight between man and animal, in which the hunt is unmistakably avenged by nature. The film shows separate moving images and mini- films with puzzle pieces that are built up and broken down. Set to the tones of hectic piano music, we see the battle between hunters and foxes. The hunters seem to have walked right out of a quaint picture book and the foxes shoot back with cannons. (Nederlands Film Festival)
