English From what I’ve read, this movie was John Travolta’s way of self-expression and an attempt to join the ranks of the best movie godfathers of the last 60 years. I don’t know what he expected. The director is obviously one of the “B-list” talents, as the music alone suggests that this movie will be one huge screw-up. Travolta himself wasn’t that bad but the rest sucked. This movie was only good for telling me that there was another movie made about Gotti in the 1990s which looks much better than this boring abomination. ()

English A lame plot with bland characters, a weak script, and an all-too-routine execution with which Connolly would like to follow the steps of Scorsese et al, even though he's far from having the chops. Only Travolta holds it slightly above water. ()
