With some booze in the blood and after watching it with friends, I’d give it one or two stars. Alone and sober, I reminisce with love last year’s Attack the Block. 5/10 ()
I found the Irish-British movie Grabbers to be an enjoyable horror-comedy, with the comedy being the dominant factor about eighty percent of the time. The horror element really comes into its own towards the end. The movie greatly benefits from using both practical effects and CGI, which are just awesome and work really well to bring Grabbers to life, complementing its dry humor, goofy characters, and quirkiness.
