Killing Me Softly starts out as s a provocatively engaging erotic adventure. When it later tries to look like a serious thriller, however, it’s just ridiculous. ()
This film is bad, empty, and sometimes dull. Ralph Fiennes' character transformations happen without him. The final twist is pointless to a fault. And yet, when I see Killing Me Softly in the TV schedule program, I can rarely resist. And Heather Graham is to blame, tearing my heart apart with her gaze and anything else. Perfect creative calculation in a blonde package. ()
