After a mysterious prisoner with only a few weeks left on his sentence breaks out of prison in Central City, the Elric brothers attempt to track him down. The search leads them to Table City in the southwestern country of Creta, where Alphonse rescues a young alchemist named Julia from the very man they are trying to capture. In the thick of the fight, they literally tumble into Julia's home turf, the slums of Milos Valley, and are embroiled in the grassroots rebellion of her people. (Manga Home Entertainment)

English When Edward and Alphons come on the scene, there is a high probability of a proper alchemical disagreement. And when they happen to come on the scene in an unjustly occupied country, great things can be anticipated. The main heroes of my favorite anime return in a separate story, which is already perfect thanks to its premise. It doesn't delve into the homunculi, Bradley, or other intrigues of the head office. Instead, it sends the Elric brothers on an adventure to places we don't know, to an area that has been just an empty space on the map throughout the series. And even though the mood of the movie is considerably darker than in the series, my journey through the land of Milos escaped me more than swiftly. Everything logically remains locked in this separate "episode", but Edward is grumbling, Alphons is a noble rescuer, and when Roy Mustang also appears with his typically gloomy expression, I am incredibly happy about their return. Huge thanks to the creators for allowing me to return to this amazing world for two hours. ()
