In this short film, Alan Berliner takes his complex editing a step further. Myth in the Electric Age seems to improvise on the observations of our senses, the possibilities and boundaries of modern science and the meaning they have for us. It is a theatre of natural phenomena that, associated with staccato sequences of different sorts of typography, burst from the screen like a new language. Or, as Marshall McLuhan comments in the film, "The electric age is returning back to myth. A myth is a way of telling you about a process, about changing forms of life."
