In a prehistoric world that has narrowly escaped the comet strike that would otherwise have wiped them out, dinosaurs are thriving and have settled the land. Arlo, the smallest of the litter born to a farming Apatosaurus family, is finding it hard to keep up with his stronger and braver brother and sister. Afraid of what lies beyond the fence, Arlo's worst fears come true when one day he strays too far past the boundaries of the family farm.
