Baron Von Meisilingen wants to become a famous writer so badly that he befriends and then kills a talented but poor writer. The baron publishes the dead man's play under his own name. The piece, known as Night Music, is performed and one of the dead playwright's friends recognizes it. He and his friends plot to expose the Baron. (Svensk Filmindustri)
