Embryos

Teréz is an obstetrician-gynaecologist. After her regular working hours she conducts a sociological survey about why couples do not have more children. Teréz is a divorcée and is pregnant with the child of Tamás who lives with his second wife and already pays child maintenance. He does not want any more children. Teréz visits both Tamás's first and second wife and witnesses the hysterical outburst of the latter, as well as the shock suffered by her child. She is not supported by her professor, as only she can make up her mind as to the fate of her foetus. Even she must stand before the abortion-committee and answer their questions.
