Plots(1)

A very mixed group of travellers are in a life-threatening situation on board a plane flying to Mexico City. Their defencelessness in the face of danger provokes a general catharsis that ends up becoming the best way to escape from the idea of death. This catharsis, developed in the tone of a riotous, moral comedy, fills the time with unforeseeable confessions that help them forget the anguish of the moment and face the greatest of dangers, that which they each carry within themselves. English A wannabe funny gay-parade farce made by a respected director, who needed to have some fun after the demanding (and excellent) drama The Skin I Live In. Some fun with cocaine, smuggled to the set in his own ass. A film for which, try as I may, I cannot find a more apt designation than crap. ()

English My relationship to Pedro Almodóvar’s movies is like a seesaw. But I feel that with this film, he completely forgot that he wasn’t making movies only for himself but for his viewers as well. Already the first scene featuring Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas couldn’t have been more artificial. And that’s really hard for me to say this because otherwise I really like Penélope and Antonio. It’s a pity. ()

English At the beginning were the legendary performances of Almodóvar's darlings, Antonio Banderas and Penélope Cruz, who otherwise classically star independently of each other in his films. After that, they were forgotten and the whole thing surprisingly culminated in the warmest comedy based on the song "I'm so excited." I don't have a problem with something like that, especially if it all ends so optimistically, my captain. ;) ()
