Women's Day in the Soviet Union. An official holiday throughout the country. This does not mean, however, that all the reservations and animosities towards women have disappeared. Employing the stylistic means of a Russian fairy tale, the cartoon film makes fun of the way men and women come to terms with one another. But nobody really wins. (Berlinale)
