New York 1925, and Minsky's Burlesque is in danger of being closed down. When Raymond and Chick meet Rachel, who has run away from home to become a dancer in the big city, the two men see an opportunity to save the theatre by staging a Bible-inspired dance that will force the police to apologise rather than raid the place.
